　　警匪推理剧《一切从失踪开始》，故事悬疑紧张，剧情布局巧妙，引人入胜！陈冬晴（陈美琪）在无意间撞破一宗惊人的谋杀案，从此离奇失踪。其夫张伟聪（刘松仁）为追查爱妻下落，因而揭发了一宗又一宗的惊人谋杀案件......。
　　
　　晴的尸体终被发现，聪怀疑晴之死与身边朋友余敏清（关咏荷）、凌梓峰（张国强）及其女友楚方怡（吴咏红）有关，聪最后推理出怡是最有可疑之人，正要揭发此事之际，怡畏罪自杀。聪认为事有蹊跷，怡应是被人谋杀，而且凶手同是杀晴的人，此人正是峰！
　　
　　聪与任职警队的好友吴华生（林保怡）合力侦查晴与怡被杀的经过，但苦无证据把峰绳之以法。其间聪却揭发了案中案，原来峰与欧阳泰（潘志文）勾结，主持一个庞大的贩毒集团，而泰亦曾杀人灭口，并将罪名推落在自己女儿欧阳秀兰（张可颐）身上，案情牵扯的人愈来愈多，而且发展愈来愈复杂......。
