◎简 介
民国初年，有个小镇以贞节牌坊出名，从进村的道路几步一牌坊，全是历代贞烈妻子的荣耀。
名门之女夏梦寒（刘雪华 饰）错嫁纨裤子弟曾靖南，谁料丈夫婚后拈花惹草令温婉的梦寒以泪洗面。曾家义子雨杭（钟镇涛 饰）亲眼看着悲剧发生，心痛梦寒的处境。二人因了解而日久生情，最终强烈的爱意战胜了封建礼教的束缚，当靖南意外丧生后这对有情人开始极力寻找出路，然而这个小镇向来只要求 女子忠贞而不管束男子的花心，雨杭和梦寒被乡亲用棍棒乱打，追赶着度过那九节牌坊，这一幕被梦寒的女儿看到，惊吓过度的她从此不能说话，梦寒和雨杭极力给她一个温暖舒适的家庭，希望她能早日回复正常……
