剧情简介：
该剧讲述了在琅琊阁学艺的萧平旌调查其兄长林军副帅萧平章一案而牵扯到大梁安危的故事。
大梁朝局安稳，但边境战火不断。守护大梁北境的长林军屡获军功，威名赫赫。在一次北境交战中，内阁首辅荀白水暗中断掉前线补给，战困中长林军副帅萧平章（黄晓明饰）身受重伤，在琅琊阁学艺的弟弟萧平旌（刘昊然饰）闻讯下山查案。三十年前，邻国夜秦遭遇疫情，大梁为自保封国道，濮阳缨（郭京飞饰）因灭国之仇潜伏在大梁，并勾结琅琊榜第一高手，东海国主墨淄侯，暗中瓦解梁帝势力与长林府，两人于京城四处投毒，疫情迅速蔓延。濮阳缨设局，使萧平旌与萧平章先后中毒。此时北境急危，萧平章放弃救治，奔赴前线支援后毒发而亡。一年后，梁帝驾崩，大渝进犯大梁，荀白水与莱阳王萧元启（吴昊宸饰）诱哄年幼梁帝颁旨，禁边境兴兵，萧平旌抗旨出征击溃大渝，长林编制因此被废除。萧元启与墨淄侯暗中勾结，卖国谋逆。萧平旌于危急之中起兵勤王，奔赴沙场营救梁帝。
