◎简 介
一九三七年“七、七事变”侵华日军的铁蹄践踏着古老的北京城。小羊圈胡同的十几户居民，平静的生活被打乱了。这些普通的中国人，一夜之间被迫进入了一个梦魇般的世界。身为四世之尊的祁老太爷（邵华 饰）是一个倔强、正直，今人尊重的长者；八国联军打进北京的阅历，使他懂得了在国家民族大事上的是与非 ，爱和憎。儿子祁天佑（高维启 饰）上敬父母，下佑子孙，是一个正派的生意人，结果反受日本人敲诈勒索，游街示众，被逼投河自尽。长孙祁瑞宣（郑邦玉 饰），是一位中学英文教师，在极端困难的条件下也不为日寇作事，同贤妻韵梅（李维康 饰）维持一家老小生计。次孙祁瑞丰贪图安逸享当了汉奸。三孙祁瑞全是个热血青年，出城参加了八路军。全家的心肝宝贝，祁老人的曾孙女小妞妞在日本投降前夕被活活饿死。小羊圈胡同的其他人，或抗争，被出卖，弄得家破人亡，或敬且偷生，认贼作父；有人被屠杀，有人被逼疯了……
