　　《豪斯医生 House》主创David Shore联同Daniel Dae Kim开发ABC医务剧《好医生 The Good Doctor》，根据韩剧所改篇的《好医生》由David Shore编剧，讲述一个年轻﹑有学者症候群（在某种艺术或学术上有超乎常人的能力，有10%自闭症患者有这种症候群）的外科医生Shaun Murphy加入了一间著名医院San Jose St. Bonaventure，这令所有人都起了这疑问：一个没法和常人建立关系的医生，真的能治疗患者？
　　在《贝兹旅馆 Bates Motel》饰演著名精神病杀人魔Norman Bates的Freddie Highmore加盟饰演患有自闭症的主角Shaun Murphy，他虽然不擅长社交，不过有着具魅力的诚实及率直；学者症候群患者的他挨过了麻烦的童年，并成为了一个天才医生。Nicholas Gonzalez饰演Neil Melendez医生，是外科住院医生的上司。Antonia Thomas饰演Claire Browne，她是个意志坚强﹑有爱心﹑聪明的医生，当她在面对自己的挑战时，与Shaun形成了一种特殊的联系。Chuku Modu饰演Jared Unger医生，是医院的驻院医生。
　　《犯罪现场调查：纽约 CSI: NY》主演Hill Harper将饰演Horace Andrews医生，医院外科主管，Irene Keng饰演Elle McLean医生，是位驻院医生。Richard Schiff饰演Ira Glassman医生，San Jose St. Bonaventure医院的院长，他本质是好人，但并非是个老好人。他在Shaun 16岁时就开始指导他，他对Shaun就像儿子一样，所以当他提出招揽Shaun时，比起在公，其实更因为是在私的关系。Beau Garrett饰演Jessica Preston，医院董事之一，是Ira Glassman的朋友，在招募Shaun来一事Jessica站在Ira的一边。
